Welcome to Taps View Resort. By making a reservation, accessing our facilities, purchasing day passes, or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully prior to confirming your stay or visit.

1. General Information

Taps View Resort is a mountain hospitality establishment situated in Maribojoc, Bohol, Philippines. All commercial transactions, room stays, glamping experiences, venue rentals, and recreational services are governed by Philippine commercial and hospitality laws.

2. Online Bookings & Payments (Cloudbeds)

  • Reservation Engine: Direct accommodation reservations are facilitated through our certified booking partner, Cloudbeds (us2.cloudbeds.com).
  • Payment Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon successful payment authorization or guarantee as defined during checkout. Official booking confirmations are transmitted via email.
  • Accuracy of Information: Guests are responsible for providing accurate personal details, contact numbers, and guest counts upon reservation.

3. Check-In & Check-Out Policies

  • Standard Check-In: Starts at 3:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to room availability upon arrival and may incur an additional fee.
  • Standard Check-Out: Until 12:00 PM (Noon). Late departures must be coordinated in advance with the Front Desk at Balai and depend on incoming guest schedules.
  • Identification: Every primary guest must present an unexpired government-issued photo ID upon registration.
  • Security Deposit: An incidental security deposit may be collected at check-in and will be refunded upon check-out, pending room inspection.

4. Cancellation, Modification & Refund Policy

  • Standard Rates: Cancellation deadlines, fees, and penalties follow the specific rate terms selected at the time of booking via Cloudbeds.
  • No-Show Policy: Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled check-in date without prior written notice will forfeit their reservation deposit in accordance with the selected rate rule.
  • Force Majeure / Severe Weather: If travel to Bohol is officially halted due to typhoons, maritime cancellations, or flight disruptions, the resort provides flexible rebooking credits within a 6-month validity period. Cash refunds are subject to administrative review.

5. Day Tour Passes & Consumables

  • Pass Access: Adult and Child Day Passes grant access to resort viewing areas and the 204 m² infinity pool during designated day visitor hours (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
  • Consumable Vouchers: Entrance fees designated as consumable must be redeemed on the day of visit for food and beverages at Huyuhoy Sky Bar or Panimalay Bistro. Unused balances are non-refundable and non-convertible to cash.
  • Outside Food & Beverage: Outside catering or heavy meals brought onto resort premises may be subject to standard corkage assessments unless covered by special package permits.

6. Guest Conduct & Property Damage

  • Quiet Hours: To preserve the tranquility of our hilltop sanctuary, quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM across all open camping, hut, and glamping areas.
  • Property Integrity: Guests are liable for any missing amenities, stained linens, broken furniture, or structural damage caused intentionally or through negligence during their stay.
  • Prohibited Items: Illegal substances, unpermitted firearms, and hazardous materials are strictly forbidden on the property.

7. Limitation of Liability

While management exercises due diligence to ensure a safe environment, Taps View Resort is not liable for personal injury, lost valuables, or unattended luggage across open public decks, pool areas, or campsite grounds. Guests are strongly advised to secure their valuables.

8. Amendments to Terms

Taps View Resort reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior individual notice. Revisions take effect immediately upon publication on this website.
